LENSES

A guide to lenses
The type of lens you’ll need depends on a variety of things such as your lifestyle, job, preference, and vision needs. Have a look below at the lenses we offer, including their benefits and prices, to help you decide which lenses might be the right ones for you.

Single-vision lenses
This lens type has one prescription that covers the whole lens. They’re typically for people with long or short sight that only need glasses for things like driving or reading – so they have clear vision for seeing up-close or far away.

Bifocal lenses
Bifocal lenses are divided into two parts to accommodate a combination of any two different prescriptions into one lens. One area of the lens will have one prescription (usually distance) and a segment in the lower half will have the other (usually near vision).

Varifocal lenses
Varifocal lenses allow you to see at any distance, because they have different sections for viewing close up and far away and everything in between. So whether you are driving, using a computer, shopping or reading, you can wear one pair of varifocals to accommodate all your vision needs.

CONTACT

LENSES

Don’t want to wear glasses? Contact lenses are a great alternative. And with so many varieties to choose from, nearly everyone can wear them. Daily disposable lenses make wearing contacts a breeze — wear them once and throw them away.

Other options include gas permeable contact lenses, lenses for overnight wear, and special-effect contact lenses. Read on to learn more about contact lenses and how to choose the best contacts for your lifestyle and visual needs.

Contact lenses are an excellent choice for nearly anyone who needs vision correction and doesn't want to wear eyeglasses full time or undergo LASIK surgery.
